Opsal

The Opsal steel building has memories to shars and stories to tell. In 1918 the Opsal Stell building was constructed as a foundry to manufacture the equipment in high demand primarily for logging. Today, the building is being rescued, reconstructed, and rehabilitated by Bastion, as part of the Opsal community. The new building adjacent will stand tall, towering 24 storeys over Southeast false Creek. Over-height ceilings creates abundant space and light and oversized balconies have flipped-floor-plates to maximize the sun's rays.
